The conducted philological analysis of the poem “Byrastɨ” (“Farewell”) once again proves the innovativeness and poetic mastery of P. Oyunsky. He was first in the Yakut poetry who used the syllabic verse and enriched its strophe. The poet in his work favors the nouns with the affix of belonging, mostly personal pronoun, which allows expressing his innermost feelings. Figurative and onomatopoetic words prevail among the verb forms, due to which the poem become not only lyrical, but also solemn and dramatic.
