Abstract: The Northern Caucasus has always had its share of dynamic ethnic and political processes, which is due to geopolitical situation of the region, its complicated ethnic and religious variety, stages of its modern ethnic regional development, relations between the center and the regions. It is also quite important to consider the inclusion of the region into the system of trans-regional ethnic and political relations. The dynamics of these relations influence both regional and Russian political situation. And therefore it needs more attention.
