Abstract: In her article Nasibullaeva gives the configuration of the lexical-semantic field “Higher Education” in English and discusses the problem of the semantic organization of the lexical system of the language, defines the concept of “semantic field”. The object of the study is a fragment of the basic vocabulary of the language, which includes lexical language units, combined on the basis of the commonality of the value “Higher Education” expressed by them, that is, according to the semantic principle. The analysis of the constituents of the lexical-semantic field “Higher Education” in modern English has shown that they have a common semantic feature (archemem) , “higher education”. The research methods were the field structuring method, the method of lexical and semantic analysis and the modeling method. The method of lexical-semantic analysis allowed to establish the composition of the lexical-semantic field of nuclear lexemes with the invariant "Higher Education". The modeling method vividly presented the structure of this lexical-semantic field. One of the urgent tasks of linguistics is “establishing and describing the field structure of a language, since the vocabulary as a system is a set of interrelated and interacting fields that form a complex and specific for each language“ world picture ”. Description of the configuration of the lexical-semantic field with the “Higher Education” invariant in modern English, revealing the specifics of its constituents, as well as the microfields in the nuclear and peripheral zones.

Abstract: The article is devoted to the lexico-semantic field with the invariant 'education' in the Russian and English langauges , domiments and constituents thereof. In her research Nasibullaeva demonstrates the dynamics of the use of lexemes in the sphere of education, and gives definitions of important terms such as semantic mutliplier, semantic field, and archilexeme. The author compares micro fields of the lexico-semantic field 'education' in English and Russian, describes particular lacunas, and compares Russian and English lexemes. The research methods include semantic analysis, comparison and quantitative research methods. The method of semantic analysis allowed to define dominants of a lexico-semantic field with the invariant 'education'. Comparison gave an opportunity to discover common and distinguished features of that lexico-semantic field in the English and Russian languages. Quantitative analysis allowed to define the main trends of translation of lexemes from English into Russian and vice versa. Despite numerous researches on the matter, intensive development of lexicography, and changes in English and Russian education vocabularies as a result of modern trends and processes, still remain an understudied topic. The rationale of the research is caused by the fact that the author develops new approaches allowing to better describe the vocabulary of contemporary English and Russian as well as to define their national and cultural features.

Abstract: The article is devoted to the analysis of a lexico-semantic field with the core 'EDUCATOR' in the English language. The author of the article focuses on the semantic organisation of the language lexical system and gives a definition of 'semantic field'. The object of the research is the basic vocabulary that consists of lexical units meaning 'educator', i.e. units united based on the semantic principle. In the course of the analysis the author discovers lexical units that have the semes meaning 'person' and 'teaching'. The author used the method of the component analysis that allowed the application of the quantitative analysis principle and the method of definition analysis to study vocabulary definitions of educator as a lexico-semantic unit. The results of analyzing constituents of the lexico-semantic field 'educator' in contemporary English demonstrate that all these words have a similar semantic meaning (archiseme) of 'sharing one's knowledge, skills or experience with others'. The author of the article also defines peculiarities of this lexico-semantic field structure and describes lexical units that comprise the core and the near and the far periphery. The author also states that in the English language the core lexeme creates a complex system with open borders.
