Abstract: The author of this article makes an attempt to formulate the root ideas for building the psychology of tolerance. From the psychological point of view, tolerance is a complicated phenomenon with many aspects and many components as well as a few ‘basic dimensions’. The author of the article views the phenomenon of tolerance from the point of view of psychology of personality.
