Abstract: Aristotle and Avicenna (Ibn Sina) were the first ones to study new philosophical categories of filling and unfilling. Aristotle defined those as ‘deprivation’ and ‘finding’ while Avicenna looked at it as the fullness and incompleteness. According to the author of the article, these new categories are related to the structure of movement and material
