Abstract: As the author of the article points out, at the modern stage only the Civil Code of the Russian Federation includes mention of the rent contract, at the same time the legislation provides nothing on the rent of the plot of land. The analysis of development of market economy at its current stage shows that the issue of rent of the plot of land is quite topical.
