Abstract: Earlier, Jean-Louis Nadal spoke about the role of the judiciary and administrative power in crisis management. This part of his speech is devoted to the method of crisis management and the media in such cases when the crisis has judicial consequences - regardless of whether it is a hostage-taking, a terrorist act, or a catastrophe or a collective accident, which may be based on the human factor - from two different positions, namely, On the one hand, as is customary in France, that is, when information is provided by various authorities, and on the other hand, when certain restrictions on freedom of the press are imposed in such crisis situations, he gives specific examples of cases of such restrictions in French criminal law and procedure.
