Abstract: The article is devoted to the study of the main trends of development of poetry of Yakutia of the late 20th century: ideological and thematic orientation, genre features, poetics and style, studying the women's lyrics in the gender aspect, examine of Russian-language poetry of Yakutia in the All-Russian context. The subject of the analysis is lyrical works of short and medium forms by poets of 1980-1990: Ivan Glagolev, Petr Toburkov, Savva Tarasov, Natalya Harlampyeva, Olga Koryakina-Ymsuura, Alexey Mikhailov, Aisena Doidu, Sofrona Osipova, and authors of the "White horse" association, and others. The research is based on empirical (observation, comparison) and theoretical (comparative-historical) methods. The methodological basis of the work was based on the works of famous literary critics of Yakutia: N.N. Toburkov, V.B. Okorokova, L.N. Romanova and others. In the process of the analysis of the poetry of Yakutia of the late 20th century, the national peculiarities of perception of the surrounding reality by lyrics of Yakutia were determined, what reflected in their works both in the ideological and thematic terms and the genre (transformation of the forms of the Yakut folklore). In the Russian-language poetry of this period, the main trends of the development of All-Russian literature of the 20 century manifested - the search for new means of expression and genre forms, the desire for game transformations, elements of avant-garde, absurdity and paradoxical vision of life.
