Abstract: The article is dedicated to the study of the features of the strategic partnership between Russia and China in the military sphere. The aim of the proposed research is to determine the degree of maturity and development trajectory of the strategic cooperation between China and Russia in the military realm. The tasks of this work include examining the characteristics of the relativistic approach to military cooperation in bilateral relations, as well as an empirical analysis of military cooperation between Russia and China. The author categorizes interstate military relations into three degrees of maturity: low, medium, and high. Each degree of maturity corresponds to specific indicators of strategic partnership. Low maturity includes confidence-building measures and consultation mechanisms. Medium-level military partnership involves military-technical cooperation and regular military exercises, while high maturity cooperation includes joint military command, joint troop deployment, and a common defense policy. The methodological foundation of the research is the relativistic approach, which allows for examining the complex of Russian-Chinese relations in the military sphere within the framework of strategic partnership. Analyzing these criteria in the strategic partnership between Russia and China reveals that after the Cold War, the two countries established comprehensive military cooperation, with all aspects having developed over the past two decades. A comprehensive and multi-level mechanism for inter-military consultations has been implemented and institutionalized, taking into account international circumstances. Large-scale exchanges in the field of military-technical cooperation, including technology exchange, have increased the compatibility of the armed forces and defense-industrial complexes of both countries. In conclusion, the author notes that since the end of the Cold War, China and Russia have established extensive military cooperation, the various aspects of which have evolved over the last two decades. Overall, the military cooperation between Russia and China, occurring within the framework of strategic partnership, has begun to transition into an advanced stage of maturity.

Abstract: The article is devoted to the study of the features of the strategic partnership between Russia and China in the naval field. The purpose of the proposed study is to determine the role of cooperation between the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China in the naval field for the strategic partnership of the two countries on the world stage. The objectives of this work are to consider the dynamics of cooperation between Russia and China in the naval sphere and to assess the benefits of cooperation in this area at the strategic and operational levels. The strategic partnership between Russia and China has a complex character and established historical and international political prerequisites. A significant area of partnership between the two countries is close cooperation in the military-political field, since it requires a high level of trust and proximity of approaches to key issues of international relations. The theoretical and methodological basis of the research is based on the theory of structural realism and the theory of transit of power, which allow us to study the impact of Russian-Chinese naval cooperation as a derivative of increasing the role of "Collective Non-Western" countries in global governance on the process of structuring both regional subsystems and the global system of international relations. The researcher concludes that after the Second World War, the USSR provided significant assistance in the creation of the Chinese naval forces as a branch of the armed forces. After the resumption of cooperation with China in the new conditions, naval cooperation with China has deepened both in the field of technology transfer and their application in practice. Modern naval exercises are becoming more complex and include not only working out typical situations for the Navy, but also joint command and staff exercises, which allows the parties to share tactical techniques in modeling and working out scenarios of combat situations. In general, the achieved level of cooperation in the naval sphere serves to strengthen international stability, since it serves as a balancer for the American strategy of deterring China and Russia.

Abstract: The interaction between Russia and China is a coordinated cooperation on a wide range of issues and problems. The parties are developing a strategic partnership, an important aspect of which is cooperation between Russia and China to ensure global and regional security. The effectiveness of such cooperation directly depends on how successfully the Russian-Chinese partnership will develop, aimed at countering new challenges and threats to security. One of these threats is international terrorism, primarily in its Islamist form. The study examines the specifics of bilateral cooperation between Russia and China in the field of combating international terrorism. The author has studied the forms and tools of bilateral cooperation at the global, regional and national levels. The article notes that cooperation between Russia and China in countering terrorism takes place on the main global platforms (the UN, the SCO). The study uses historical-comparative, historical-typological and problem-chronological methods, which allowed the author to study the approaches of Russia and China to measures to counter terrorism in the context of exacerbation of non-traditional challenges and threats. Russia and China, as permanent members of the UN Security Council (UNSC), contribute to the management of global security and ensuring international stability through the development and implementation of UN Security Council resolutions on combating terrorism, participation in projects of the UN Counter-Terrorism Center (UNTC), UN peacekeeping operations. In the regional subsystem, the SCO is an important platform for countering terrorism and ensuring international stability, within which countries have built an effective regulatory and institutional framework for combating terrorism. The article proves that at the bilateral level, the parties have created a mechanism for interaction between law enforcement agencies and special services. In addition, the parties are jointly involved in the fight against international terrorist groups involved in the Syrian conflict. The author concludes that the counter-terrorism system built in Russian-Chinese relations makes a constructive contribution to ensuring international and regional security from non-traditional threats.
