Abstract:
A comprehensive analysis of the differentiated factors of suicide risk among teenagers is a relevant scientific problem. The goal of this study consists in revealing the regional specificity of the factors that define the distribution of suicidal behavior among teenagers in the Altai Region. Methodology of this research includes three levels of analysis: macro-level (institutional), meso-level (social group), and micro-level (individual). The basic methods of empirical research contain statistical analysis of the data, traditional analysis of documents and surveys of the secondary school students of the Altai Region. The scientific novelty lies in successful testing of the multilevel sociological research method of the differentiated factors of suicide risk among the students of 14-18 years of age. As a result of this study, the author determines the regional peculiarities of suicidal activity of teenagers and reveals the key factors of the formation of suicide risk. Practical importance of the work lies in the fact that the acquired data can be applies by the specialists of regional authorities, as well as considered in development of the targeted programs for preventing the proliferation of suicidal behavior among teenagers.
