Abstract: The subject of the study included significant conditions and factors for maintaining health in the context of ensuring the demographic security of Russian society.
The object of the study was the national health of Russians and its regional specifics.
Methodological approaches included a civilizational approach to the analysis of global and regional social, economic, behavioral determinants of health and population motivation for health-saving technologies.
A secondary analysis of the phenomenon of national health in the context of modern humanitarian research is presented.
The novelty of the study is based on the analysis of regional practices of the population in relation to their health, the structure of morbidity, factors and reasons motivating the population to take care of their health and lead a healthy lifestyle.
Behavioral models of the population's attitude towards health and a healthy lifestyle are described; the structure of diseases in the population of border areas was analyzed. The specifics of motivation to preserve health through employer investments are described.
It was concluded that there are regional specificities that determine the quality of public health and, in some cases, provoke specific “medical” interregional and external migration (for example, the opportunity to change place of residence to improve medical care). The health of employees of an enterprise of any form of ownership is a decisive reproductive component of human capital.
In the conditions of the modern world, the permanent experience of the socio-economic and financial crisis, the transformation of values, the population is expected to significantly adapt to the changed conditions of society. All of this requires optimal levels of health and vitality. In this context, health is essential for the full and effective implementation of educational or professional activities.

Abstract: Brief results of a sociological study conducted in six border territories of modern Russian society are presented. The subject of the study was the components of the reproductive mechanisms of human capital, namely the attitude of the population to health and motivation to preserve it. The object of the study was the human capital of the Russian borderlands. The research methodology is based on an interdisciplinary complex analysis, including structural-functional, activity-based approaches in conjunction with a secondary analysis of the phenomenon of human capital in the field of various humanities and economic sciences. The specifics of the functioning of the reproductive components of human capital were measured based on the analysis of relevant regional statistics and questionnaire questions, expert survey. The novelty of the study lies in the regional specifics of the attitude of the population of six border regions of Russia to the potential of their health and motivation to use health-saving technologies in their lives. Territorial models of population health disorders are described. Conclusions are drawn that at the present stage of the development of Russian society, opposite trends are being realized. On the one hand, the negative consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic, the combination of structural disorders in the system of providing medical care to the population and the increase in morbidity of various kinds, which caused an unprecedented increase in mortality in all territories of Russia. The opposite and positive trend can be called the formation of the legislative framework of a new health protection strategy in Russian society. The main goal of this strategy is to preserve and increase the human capital of the country, including, first of all, the health of the nation, as well as its education and motivation for a long and fruitful life for the benefit of Russian society

Abstract: The subject of this research is the specificity of the ethno-national processes and the functioning of the ethno-national policy in the Russian boundary regions: Altai Krai, Orenburg Oblast, Zabaykalsky Krai, Jewish Autonomous Oblast, Kemerovo Oblast, Omsk Oblast, and Altai Republic. The object of this research is the evaluation of interethnic tensions in the context of regional aspects of national security. Special attention is given to the analysis of specificity of establishment of the intolerant attitudes towards the representatives of various ethnic groups residing in the regions, as well as to the description of the causes and factor which justify these attitudes. The authors present a model of social factors stimulating the interethnic tension in the general regional selection. Scientific novelty consists in determination of the regional data on social factors that provoke the increase of interethnic tension, as well as hinder the interethnic integration in boundary regions of the modern Russian society. The authors conclude that the socioeconomic factors and particularly of the domestic character, which affect the crisis of social development, namely the spread of corruption and bureaucracy, indirectly create e negative social background that forms the conditions for the increase of interethnic tension. Among the most weighty and statistically significant determinants became the presence and incidence of terrorist threat in the regions; hooligan actions based on interethnic conflicts; physical abuse; judgment of interethnic marriages; unfriendly expressions about the people of other faith. And the less significant are the prejudices that impede the establishment of friendly relations, as well as rivalry for leadership between the representatives of different nationalities.
