Abstract: The research subject is the improvement of facilities and resources of practical training lessons within the disciplines “Tactical and Special training” and “Personal safety of internal affairs officers” in educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal affairs of Russia when it comes to using modern training weapons. The research object is the educational process in the Ural Juridical Institute under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, and its pedagogical capacity of using laser tag for training internal affairs officers. The research is based on the methods of theoretical consideration, analysis of literary sources, generalization of scientific materials, and pedagogical observation. The main conclusion of the research is the substantiation of the possibility to use training weapons laser tag in education institutions under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for internal affairs officers training. The use of training weapons is a promising means of improvement of tactical training of internal affairs officers which will help students to prepare themselves for law-enforcement activity. The scientific novelty of the research consists in the private technique of using laser tag in the educational process of a departmental specialized educational institution. The technique is aimed at testing the pedagogical potential of using modern training equipment laser tag during the practical training within the “Tactical special training” discipline.

Abstract: The research subject is the improvement of the educational process in special educational disciplines in educational institutions within the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The aim of the research is to substantiate the necessity to use the training firearm equipment set “Laser Tag” during practical lessons in the “Personal safety of internal affairs officers” discipline. The authors consider the issues connected with the private technique of using training firearm equipment “Laser Tag” which is aimed at reinforcing theoretical knowledge by means of modelling realistic situations in order to form professional skills of students in the field of personal safety provision in the pursuance of their duties. Special attention is given to the description of training firing grounds used for testing training equipment “Laser Tag”.
The research is based on theoretical consideration, analysis of literature sources, generalization of scientific and methodical materials, and pedagogical observation. The research methodology is based on the cognition theory and scientific grounds of its introduction into the professional education system. The authors substantiate the necessity to train the students of organizational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia using the training firearm equipment and the corresponding technical facilities. The scientific novelty consists in the author’ s technique of using a set of training firearm equipment “Laser Tag” at the lessons in the “Personal safety of internal affairs officers” discipline aimed at practical reinforcement of theoretical knowledge by means of modelling realistic situations; the authors explain the necessity to use modern simulation weapons during the educational process at educational institutions, and offer the variants of practical lessons at special training firing grounds which are aimed at forming professional skills of personal safety provision.

Abstract: The research subject is the process of organisation of joint operative actions by territorial bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the structures of the National Guard Troops as the important public institutions. The research object is the organizational issues of interaction between the police officers and the National Guard Troops. The authors study such aspects of the problem as the necessity to create the structures of the National Guard Troops aimed at preventing the internal and external threats on the territory of Russia. Special attention is given to the prevention of the key threats to Russia’s national safety - terrorism and extremism. The research is based on comparative analysis, theoretical consideration and generalization of scientific works and statistical analysis. The authors also use the general scientific dialectical method of cognition implying the study of legal notions and phenomena in their development and interdependence. The authors justify the necessity to create a new security agency - the National Guard Troops Service and organize its interaction with law enforcement bodies of Russia in order to protect the vital interests of the society and the state from criminal infringements. The research novelty consists in the fact that the authors describe the topical aspects of interaction between the National Guard Troops and the bodies of the MIA and the peculiarities of organizing their joint actions aimed at preventing extremist and terrorist activities, coordinating actions at emergency situations, counterterrorism operations and territorial defence with clear distribution of responsibilities of each service and every active officer.

Abstract: The research subject is the organization and realization of occupational guidance of internal affairs officers candidates by the current internal affairs officers of the Russian Federation. The authors consider the issues of organization of selection of candidates for the institutions of higher education within the internal affairs system of the Russian Federation. Special attention is paid to the problem of organization of professional informing (professional education) about the study in educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs; organization of professional consultation by internal affairs officers; organization of occupational selection of candidates for educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Special attention is also paid to the analysis of the problems of occupational guidance improvement among the students of secondary general education and secondary professional education institutions. The research object includes the students of secondary general and secondary professional education institutions. The authors apply the method of collective phenomena studying, including questioning the 1st and 2nd-year students of the Ural Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, conducted according to the certain plan with the help of special questionnaires. The authors substantiate the necessity to organize occupational guidance work with the parents of potential candidates for educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and with the students of secondary general and secondary professional education institutions. The authors find out that the modern youth is more independent in choosing the future career, and at the same time, young people suffer from the lack of information about the service in internal affairs agencies and the specificity of police service in Russia. The authors emphasize the recommendation to maintain the opportunity for the candidates for educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to stay in touch with the officers of personnel departments and other divisions of internal affairs agencies by means of regular joint events with school graduates and undergraduates.
