Abstract: This article using a comparative aspect provides the results of prospect analysis of development of the institutions of political dialogue in Russian and Nigeria, which are the countries known for their ethnocultural diversity. In this context, from the sociopolitical perspective, the author examines the categories of “ethnocultural diversity” and “multicomponent society”, analyzes certain ethnopolitical peculiarities of the indicated countries, as well as suggests an original interpretation of the concept of political dialogue. The results of the conducted empirical research using the method of expert interview are provided. The methodology leans of the authorial questionnaire “Prospect of political dialogue in societies with ethnocultural diversity” (S. P. Potseluyev, D. A. Timuk). The experts from Russian and Nigeria – reputable scholars, state, religious, and public figures, took part in the research. Based on the acquired results, the author proposed the recommendations aimed at efficient development of cooperative institutions of political dialogue in the multicomponent societies and constructive collaboration of various ethnocultural groups.

Abstract: This article examines the aspects of communitarianism in relation to the idea of "moral dialogues" according to the theory of American political scientist Amitai Etzioni. The author emphasizes the importance of this phenomenon for the harmonious existence of human communities. In that context, the role of "moral dialogues" is analyzed in pursuit of the good. Moreover, the article discusses the factors that contributed to the emergence of communitarianism, in particular the importance of common values in formulation of the concept of "common good". The subject of this research is the dialogical basis of communitarian political ideology as a precondition for the effective multicultural interaction in modern world. Methodology leans on the results of meta-analysis of the political studies carried out by communitarian scientists to test the proposed scientific hypothesis. The scientific novelty of the research is determined by the relevant methodological conclusion about the role of political dialogue based on moral postulations of communitarianism as the conceptual ground for establishing civil society in the conditions of ethnocultural diversity. Alongside, the author analyzes the critical evaluations of consensus in communitarian discourse and concludes that the synthesis of various sociocultural values will allow creating the viable universal values of good neighborliness and justice.

Abstract: This article discusses the political dialogue as a solution to ethno-cultural conflicts in plural societies. Particular attention is given in the article to the process of organizing constructive negotiations as well as creating conditions for the development of a democratic society. In this regard, the paper examines ethnic diversity and the socio cultural factors influencing the political life of Myanmar. The object of this present study includes the democratic reforms held in Myanmar after 50 years of war. The subject of the research is the role of sustainable political dialogue in achieving reconciliation and democratization.The leading methodology used is the case-study method. Other methods applied include, the general scientific method and the comparative political approach.The novelty of this work is contained in the analysis of the actual needs for developing dialogical forms and creating political strategies necessary for building a democratic society in Myanmar. It is important to note that the civil war in Myanmar in the year 2011 was ended through constructive inter-ethnic dialogue. Consequently, the creation of effective democratic institutions is required for the development of civil society in Myanmar today.
