Chinyakov, M.K. Russia (USSR) in the “coalition wars” from the Thirty Years’ War to the 2nd World War: establishing the problem.

Abstract: In this article the author views the value of participation of Russia in the largest “coalition wars” throughout the three centuries of relations between the West and Russia (USSR). The author shows a number of failures, and rare positive actions of Russian diplomacy in various political situations, which in turn shows the need to protect its interests in the international arena.
