Korneeva, O.V. Delict responsibility of the owners of transportation vehicles in the conditions of obligatory insurance: functional aspect.

Abstract: The article includes analysis of the influence of obligatory insurance on the development of the institution of civil legal responsibility of the owners of the transportation vehicles. She analyzes the functions of delict responsibility and of insurance. Then she comes to a conclusion that obligatory insurance deforms the functions of delict responsibility of vehicle owners, partly substituting for rehabilitation and preventive-educational function.
