Abstract: This article is devoted to specific features of formation and development of state policy in the sphere of legal guarantees of ecological safety, while developing and implementing nanotechnologies in Russia. The author points out legal problems in this sphere, provides comparative legal analysis of ecological legal policy and law-making in the sphere of ecological security of nanotechnologies in the foreign states, and based on this analysis, she offers to improve Russian legislation in this sphere
