Egorova, A.Y. Protective function of labor law: history and perspectives of development

Abstract: The article is devoted to the development of protective function of the labor law of the Soviet period, its current condition and perspectives of development. Currently this function fails, and the rights of worker are often violated. That is why it is quite interesting how this protective function was developing in the Russian labor law in the sphere of employee protection. Topicality of this study has to do with the fact that currently this function needs a novel approach in its influence on labor relations.
