Misnik, G.A. Definition and types of ecological risks.

Abstract: The problems of ecological harm, mechanisms and threats, as well as the risks, arising from the negative influence onto the environment attract attention of specialists, both in Russia and abroad. The authors discuss elements and marks of ecological harm, calculations, specific features of harmful consequences in various components of environment, correlation of ecological harm and economic harm, etc. All of this serves as the basis for three directions: compensation of ecological harm to persons, juridical persons and states, prevention of ecological violations and punishment of perpetrators, and, finally for the formation of means for prevention of ecological harm, and lowering the scale of ecological risks.
