Abstract: The Southern Caucasus has a certain priority in the foreign policy of Turkey. The importance of the all-inclusive study of this key region is quite obvious, considering that without in-depth analysis of a number of issues, it is hard to understand the processes in this region, which in turn defi ne the key tendencies of development of the Southern Caucasian states, as well as the characters of peoples on this vast territory.
