Abstract: This article is devoted to the category of financial activity of the state, and it includes analysis of various points of view on this term. This article covers various spheres of realization of financial activities of the state, as well as means of ensuring of financial activity. This article establishes legal prohibition as one of the key measures able to ensure financial activities. Administrative prohibition plays an important role in ensuring legal order in financial activities of the state. The article also includes offers to improve the mechanism of realization of administrative prohibition in the financial sphere.
