V.Y. Afonina The role of investments in maintenance of food securityAbstract: The article examines the issues of food security, which do not recede, but escalateas the society develops. Issues of production, distribution, trade and consumption of food are quite pressing in many countries across the globe. The author substantiates the necessity for solving this issue via investing into food security. On the example of Russian regions, the author demonstrates the importance of capital investment into food security.
