Kryukov, A. N. German-French Relations in 1949-1969: from Confrontation to CooperationAbstract: This article is devoted to the harmonization of relations between Germany and France during 1949 – 1969 when there was a transit from confrontation policy to cooperation policy. It was caused both by European integration and a stable and secure situation in Western Europe. The article discusses the goals and tasks of approximation of both Germany and France. Keywords: Confrontation, cooperation, German-French relations, statehood of Germany, the European integration, stability, safety guarantees.
