Abstract: At all times, the education was more than just means of acquiring knowledge, being to an extent a political game, where state and other powerful structures fight for their influence on the people. As the author points out, these political games in England includes such eager players, as parliamentary perties, church clerics, local government, school boards, parents, social organizations, as well as the students themselves, each guarding their own interests.
