Abstract: The article is devoted to some issues of ensuring ecological security in nuclear energy sphere. The author studies the issues of correlation of ecological security of nuclear and other energetic objects, the costs of nuclear energy use, lowering the related risks, role of legal and international legal mechanisms in this process. Ensuring ecological security at the nuclear energy enterprises is viewed within the concept of stable development.
