Abstract: The article is devoted to analysis of often used term “legal policy of the state” through the prism of “functional system of legal policy”, which includes the legal policy of the state and other elements. This approach allows to view the legal policy of the state not only as a scientific term, but within the context of factors, which influence the state and organized society, its goals, functions and perspectives of development.
