Shaikhutdinova, G.R. Key concepts of flexibility in the European Union.

Abstract: As G.R. Shaikhutdinova points out, in spite of the fact that the principle of flexibility was first introduced into the EU law in 1997 in the Amsterdam Treaty, even long before that time it have been voiced by different European politicians and gained different forms in their views. Different legal scholars find three to six and more various forms of this principle. This article contains analysis of evolution of this concept in the EU law.
