Abstract:
The relevance of the topic of the safety of nuclear refueling operations is associated with the specificity of exploitation of RBMK units. One of the most hazardous, from the perspective of accidents at modern nuclear power plants, is the process of nuclear fuel reloading. The operations on rearrangement of fuel cartridges entail the risk of fuel damage, and thus, the likelihood of the release of radioactive substances exceeding the permissible limits. The process of reloading RBMK, if the reactor is at full capacity, consists of the vast number of complex operations characterized by a range parameters. Non-observance of the criteria for carrying out operations, or if the parameter values exceed permissible limits, with high probability leads to an accident. This article explores the possibility of application of formalized approach towards determination of the baseline events that may cause accidents for the purpose of the development of essential protection instruments. The formal approach would allow detecting the excessiveness in protection instruments on the existing blocks, as well as revealing the accident situations that cannot be prevented using these protection instruments. The author formulated systemic approach towards comprehensive assessment of the accident rate of structurally complex systems. Adaptation of this method relative to REM allows systematizing the search for baseline vents that entail uncontrolled situations, as well as optimizing the protection instruments that would ultimately enhance reliability of the system, simplify the exploitation process, and reduce the time of operating cycle of the controller for processing of the protection.

Abstract:
There is currently a wide variety of navigation system, which allow determining the exact GPS coordinates and building a route taking based on the specified parameters. However, such systems are not suitable for indoor use, mostly due to no access to the floor plans. In view of this, it is relevant to minimize the time of searching for the location of a particular object, including in a building with complex hierarchical structure. The article examines the theoretical and practical developments in the sphere of navigation, conducts their comparative analysis, which indicated the need for designing the module for indoor navigation in a multi-storey building, considering the peculiarities of its floor plan. As a result, the authors designed the structure of the indoor navigation module in a building with complex hierarchical structure using the graph theory for detecting the shortest route and affine transformation algorithms for graphical representation of floor plan of a building on the example of the main building of the Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University. The article provides the description of its subsystems and blocks, as well as instruments for determining geopositioning of the object. The authors outline the prospects for the development of indoor navigation system, taking into account the peculiarities of creating electronic floor plans of a building based on the graph theory, as well as development of the algorithm for modification of the parameters of the existing 3D-objects. As a result of full implementation of the project, there will be designed the system of indoor navigation in a multi-storey building with complex hierarchical structure using a mobile app; it will help to easily find the geopositioning of the object and shortcuts.

Study of chaotic broadband signals in the context of hydroacoustics problems

Abstract:
The most common type of sounding signals of sonar systems are broadband linear-frequency-modulated signals (LFM). Due to the use of such signals it is possible to increase the range and resolving power of hydroacoustic devices, but this does not solve the problem of mutual interference of pulses. One type of broadband signals are chaotic oscillations, which theoretically are able to become an alternative to chirp signals due to increased resistance to crosstalk. The paper compares chaotic and chirp signals by simulating their passage in an aqueous medium. Chaotic signals generated by systems with different numbers of basins of attraction are investigated. The study shows that chaotic signals are more resistant to mutual interference, and also experience less attenuation when propagating in an aqueous medium compared to the types of signals currently used. The stability of chaotic broadband signals to interference and attenuation correlates with the number of basins of attraction of the attractor of the generating chaotic system. Based on the results of the work, it can be concluded that the chaotic signals are used as probing pulses of sonar systems.

Simulation modeling of the state management process for taxable base of administrative
units

Abstract:
The subject of the study of movements of an administrative unit tax base are
methods for constructing simulation models of the process of the tax base state management
both as an object in the composition of the administrative unit and as the possibility of
simulation of tax base movements for studying its’ behavior in further complicating of market
relations both in between enterprises of administrative units and in between its administration
and a single enterprise. Information technology of the state management of taxable base in
its imitation models (being a tool in its composition) is necessary for the administrative unit of
power and consists of a set of methods, ways and means for providing optimal allocation of
resources in the process of giving a real taxable base a desired state. The study of taxable base
motion as a real part of an administrative unit is founded on state management methodology
for any object considered in any subject area, presented in the form of a structural model of
the logical organization of methods and tools: - observation of the motion parameters of the
object; measuring the value of at least one parameter of the motion of the object; simulation
of the motion of the object; estimate of the parameters of motion of the object; the choice of
alternative and decision making; forming a control action on the process of movement of the
object out of the available resource. Scientific novelty of the proposed instrument in the form
of a simulation model is in a new logical organization (i.e., the process of establishing new
logical connections) of methods and tools that are part of the management process for specific
object as taxable base movements proceeding under the influence of the external environment
of competing subjects, systems and technologies from the infrastructure of the city and the
district. The benefits of the proposed simulation model of the management process for the
state of taxable base as part of the administrative unit is in the ability to successfully solve the
problem of expansion of taxable base today, because the decision is needed by the authorities
of any city, town, district and region. A tool allowing the authorities of the administrative unit
gathering knowledge about the options for solving the problem of taxable base expansion
is the mentioned above “Statistical Simulation Dynamic (SSD) model of the taxable base
management process”. The basis of mathematical “decision support system” software, which
is a part of the “Statistical Simulation Dynamic (SSD) model of the taxable base management
process” can be formed of algorithms using the methods of statistical decisions, game theory,
fuzzy sets and several methods of dynamic programming.
