Abstract:
This article discusses the necessary reforms that are due in the system of national music education. The essence of crisis consists in the fact that the syllabus has outdated, because until the present stage is focused on the solo performances, while the job market suggests the positions of other type associated with the communication skills, management and diversification of musical styles of a graduate. The second aspect of crisis lies in the excessive overload of the students with the class exercises that do not leave space for self-education, work and leisure that are extremely need for a young individual. Overload as a generic feature of the Russian education system also concerns professors and educators that are deprived of career growth opportunity alongside the full-fledged academic activity. In addition, the article offers not to interlink the salary of educators with the teaching load, as well as pare it down due to the decrease of academic hours, which manifests as a crucial moment in the proposed reform. The third aspect of crisis is the outdated format of presenting the material based on lecture, while the psychology of modern students inclines towards the other formats, which certainly include interactivity and creativity. The international experts acknowledge all of the indicated flaws in music education as in need of the reforms. Their opinions and propositions are also considered in the article, which views the reform of music education leaning on the three key components – syllabus, organization, and format of education, which will increase demand for the graduates and their success on the job market.

Abstract:
The object of this research is an important and relevant question of modern education – the realization of educational activity with application of the information and communication technologies. The subject is the assessment of the quality of math classes with application of the information and communication technologies. Special attention is given to the development of mechanism for creating the system of models considered as exemplary for the math class (content area, presentation style, etc.). The article describes (from various perspectives) the criteria for the system of exemplary models that allow assessing the quality of the content of math class. Methodology of the research is based on the modelling theory. The following conclusions were made: 1) the content of math class, developed with implementation of the formalized system of exemplary model, produces the more extensive pedagogical effect that the content selected by certain private methods; 2) the described system of exemplary models can be used not only as an apparatus for assessing the quality of the existing mathematical content, but also as instrument of projecting the new math disciplines; 3) the suggested approach can be applied to the assessment of quality not only of the mathematical educational content, but also other areas of education. Unlike the existing studies on the questions of application of the information and communication technologies in math education, the accent is made not on the quality of content solution, but rather the quality of the content of math classes. The proposed approach allows harmoniously combine the unification and diversification of presentation of the educational discipline, as well as ensure to the student a possibility of structuring of an individual educational trajectory.

Abstract:
Under the conditions of rapid development of the market of further educational services, multiple universities show interest in attracting the students to education upon the program of further professional education. From such perspective, it is extremely important to identify the significant social factors that greatly affect the representations of students regarding further education and their role in creation and establishment of motivation to continue education. This work focuses on analysis of the role of social representations on motivating students to receive further professional training during studying in the university. The research leans on the results of sociological surveys that involved 452 of the Russian students. The results were analyzed using the factor analysis, hierarchical cluster analysis, k-means clustering, and regression analysis. The authors examines the attitude of the Russian students towards further education using the six scales: 1) informedness about such programs; 2) social representations (content, conditions, price); 3) idea of the necessary characteristics of the programs and expectations; 4) desire to receive further professional training currently and in the future, as well as the impeding factors. The four basic representations about the further education have been determined in students’ consciousness. The results of the research demonstrate that social representation have a poor impact upon students’ desire to acquire further professional training during studying in the university, however have substantial effect in long-term perspective.

Abstract:
This article is dedicated to the problems of adjustment of the national systems of higher education of the European countries to the Bologna Process. The author presents the comparative characteristic of the traditional (pre-Bologna) and Bologna models of the systems of higher education in Europe on the example of France, Great Britain, Italy, and Germany. Accent is made on the fact that the Bologna reforms aimed at achieving the unification of system of higher education of the European countries in practice led to the unification of problems faced by the national educational systems, distorted under the aegis of the Bologna slogans. The attractive propositions of Bologna Declaration were twisted in reality, inflicting damage to the traditionally strong sides of the national systems of higher education. Leaning on the works of A. A. Ostapenko, T. A. Khagurov, O. N. Chetverikova, E. Fromm, and K. D.Ushinsky, the author gives particular attention to the problems emerged as a result of the Bologna reforms: commercialization, utilitarianism, dehumanization of higher education. The conclusion is made that under the conditions of globalization and pragmatization, education has lost its true purpose – enlightenment and strive for improving the humane in a human. The loss of the true meaning of education leads to dehumanization of the society.

Abstract:
This article is dedicated to the results of the regular stage of monitoring (2016-2017) of the newest changes in the strategy of managing science, innovations, and higher education in the United Kingdom due to the referendum consequences on the country’s exit from the European Union. Special attention is given to the examination of strategic documents and decisions of the British government, including the new law on higher education and science (April of 2017). The authors analyze the content and meaning of the current conceptual and organizational changes, as well as predict the possible consequences. A conclusion is made that intensification of the course towards centralization of management system, restriction of academic freedoms, and methods of dirigisme in the development of science, innovations, and higher education are associated with the escalation of crisis phenomena in the country and unaccounted “Brexit” effects. It is noted that at the present moment, the growing financial responsibilities of the British government before the academic community is a way of defusing the political tension, rather than the circumspect development strategy. Further monitoring of the British experience will allow assessing the efficiency of the new course from the perspective of its productivity and correspondence of the selected methods with the set goals and tasks.

Abstract:
The choice of profession is crucial decision made in the life of any person. The subject of this research is the processes of professional self-identification of the students. The article comprehensively analyses the choice of future profession, as well as asses the subjective changes of the image of profession in educational process. Professional deprivation negatively affects the psychological state of the students and possibility of their professional self-realization. The author considers such aspects of the topic as the professional deprivation substantiated by the discrepancy of students’ professional expectations and self-realization in the selected profession. Special attention is given to the value orientations and the impact of the character of profession upon the students’ professional goals. The author surveyed the students of Primorsky Krai (n=600) for determining the level of satisfaction with the choice of profession. The results demonstrated that the changes in the process of professional self-identification of youth are defined by the qualitative transformations in the society. High school graduates often select the future profession without studying the character and conditions of the professional activity, as well as situation at the job market, and actual employment opportunity. The modern youth is not afraid of possibility to adjust their profession in the future. The author underlines that modern universities to do pay due attention to the professional orientation regarding the transition “from education to work”, thus it is necessary to develop the structures assisting the employment that help introducing the students to job market.
