Abstract:
The subject of this article is the artistic and staging solutions applied by John Neumeier in choreographing the ballet “Anna Karenina”. Their determination and analysis is carried out in order to reveal the semantic dominants in interpretation of L. Tolstoy's plotline and understand the ideological intention of the author, who is both a choreographer and a production designer. The research is based on the comprehensive approach. Using semantic analysis of the ballet, the author was leaning on the principles developed by theoreticians and historians of the choreographic theater – Dobrovolskaya, Krasovskaya, Lopukhov, Suriz. In the course of historiographical analysis, were used the lectures given by Neumeier prior to the Moscow premiere of “Anna Karenina”. The article also contains video materials from the archives of Hamburg “Ballettzentrum” and Moscow Bolshoi Theater. The method of overt observation (based on the personal experience of working with Neumeier on the role of Kitty) was also applied. Neumeier saturates the minimalistic and easily transformable design of the ballet with symbolic images (chair, bag, door, steam locomotive), as well as uses staging techniques such as layering of scenes and change of scenery in motion, exposure of the structure of decorations, creation of several scenic plans, use of videography. Detailed semantic analysis of scenography, which became the key research instrument, allows concluding that in his choreographic interpretation of L/ Tolstoy's novel, Neumeier actively uses staging techniques characteristic to drama theater, broadening the range of scenographic solutions for the ballet performance. The author was able to determine and decode the symbolism of the original expressive elements and images by in-depth analysis of the ideological concept of the performance.

Abstract:
The author examines the problem of cultural-philosophical analysis study of the text in the space of modern digital culture, focusing attention on analysis of the concepts of text within the framework of interaction between culture and language. Leaning on the textocentric cultural-philosophical approaches – M. M. Bakhtin’s concept of dialogism, poststructuralist practice of text deconstruction in the concepts of J. Derrida and R. Bart, L. Manovich’s phenomenological concept of the new media, the author attempts to determine the principles of understanding of the digital text phenomenon, as well as studying the new cultural practices in the space of digital culture. Methodological foundation became the cognitive approach to culture and language, and methodological Interdisciplinarity Digital Humanities. The content of this work comprise the results of comparative analysis of the concepts of text in various cultural-philosophical systems in the contexts of understanding the interaction between reasoning, culture and language, as well as analysis of functionality of the text in digital era. The conducted research demonstrates that the dual logics of functionality of the digital text must become the subject of culturological study. At the same time, the author assumes that the concept of hypertextuality plays a special role in understanding of the digital text, and the deconstructive reading-writing practice advances to the level of “material intervention” of a reader into the digital text, turning it to an endless Author-Reader communication, mediated by the logics of computer interface, which language plays a role of the new cultural metalanguage, arranging the conveyed information in a peculiar way and affecting functionality of the text as a cultural object and its perception by the user.

Abstract:
The subject of the present research is the socio-economic and, mostly, worldview prerequisites for a totally new society that was formed at the turn of the XXIst century - the society that is post-industrial in terms of its material resources and post-modernistic from the point of view of its cultural code. The author of the article examines the new civilization paradigm, compares it to the industrial and agricultural models, discovers and describes the main systems thereof (technosphere, sociosphere and infosphere) and underlying institutions and ideologemes. Special emphasis is made on studying a totally new, horizontal network social communication in the age of globalization, explosion of pop culture and convergence of mass media. The methodology and at the same time the novelty of the present researchis caused by the fact that based on the analysis of the rich scientific legacy, the author makes an attempt to provide a general picture of social processes and their genetic relation to preceding civilization models instead of just describing particular aspects and spheres of such processes. From a substantive point of view, the author bases his research on the classical division of the historical process into the three parts: premodernity - modernity - postmodernity; and agricultural - industrial - post-industrial civilizations. The main scientific contribution made by the author is the summary and analysis of the results of almost half of the century of researches on a new civilization paradigm. As a result of his research, the author concludes that the post-industrial information society is based on the pluralistic doctrine of post-modernistic philosophy in the form of a decentralized network structure. In such a structure the flow of information is not controllable by authoritative agencies because it is fed by a great number of various sources and the dominating user content can be spread through viruses. Economy, all markets and systems are welded into a universal supersystem and driven by the sum of hardly predictable actions of actors from all over the world.

Abstract:
Object of research in this article is self-updating of the teacher. An object of research – its essence from the point of view of humanistic approach. The humanistic psychology which developed by 60th years of the XX century in the western science became a counterbalance to postulates of a freydizm and a behaviorism, peculiar by "the third force" in relation to them. This concept for the first time in the center of studying put the "complete" person, with all individual and unique features inherent in it. The author analyzes ideas of value of each person as persons, recognitions behind it of the right for free development and manifestation of own abilities which are still actual and intensively develop in modern science. The special attention is paid to self-updating consideration as the phenomenon opposed to a manipulyatorstvo. Method of research is the analysis of interpretation of concept of self-updating as psychological phenomenon in scientific literature, and also generalization on the basis of which the essence of this phenomenon comes to light. The main conclusions of the author are that self-updating is initiated by the corresponding congenital requirement which characterizes the highest level of the potrebnostny sphere of the person; self-updating is provided, mainly, with intra personal conditions though effective incentive for it are also conditions of an external order; self-updating isn't end in itself; adequate self-updating requires comparison of with Another, interaction with it; results of self-updating should be estimated as in individual, and social plans; sensibleness – an indispensable condition of adequate self-updating.Novelty of article consists that in it scientific experience of humanistic psychology concerning essence of self-updating of the personality and, specifically, the teacher is generalized. On the basis of the received results, the author considers self-updating of the teacher as the conscious process provided with the corresponding internal and external conditions, ability to interact with other people, an adequate self-assessment. Thus efficiency of self-updating has to be estimated both in individual, and in social plans.

Abstract:
The object of this research is the basic, anthropologically significant concepts of “health” and “sickness”. The subject of this research is the color associations in the modern Russian culture related to these concepts. The author carefully examines the intensity of color associations (this factor was assessed based on the number of color matches for each concept among various respondents), analyzes the correlation of associations with the color hue and diverse groups of shades (light, clear, dark), and determines the link between the concepts with achromatic colors – white, gray, and black. Special attention is given to the culturological expertise of the established associative connections. The research was conducted through the method of experiment, involving 100 Russian-speaking respondents (M=36, F=64, average age 23.73). The pallet consisted of 27 color samples from the Natural Color System (NCS). The participants were offered to select the most appropriate color samples for each concept. The conducted research allowed revealing the tolerant associations of the concept of “sickness” with dark green-yellow and yellow shades, which in the Russian culture indicate the decay, decomposition, deterioration. The structure of the chromatic image of the concept of “health” highlights two cores: in the red-yellow and green parts of the pallet. The core in the red-yellow part correlates with the image of a healthy person that in the Russian linguocultue semantically relates to healthy color of the face and natural blush. Prevalence of the green shades is explained by steady interaction in the Russian national sphere of concepts of the notions “health” and “sickness”. The scientific novelty of this work lies in quantitative characteristics of chromatic structure of the concepts of “health” and “sickness”; identification of the hue, lightness, saturation of the shades that form color associations and visualization of the acquired associative connections.

Abstract:
The object of this research is the current state of the conceptual design-practices, their form of representation and interdisciplinary correlation. The subject of this research is the practice of critical design as a fundamental vector of the modern conceptual design. The goal of this work consists in determination of the major methodological orientations of the modern conceptual design alongside the principles of anesthetization and formation of the conceptual design-objects, as well as examination of the nature of interrelation between a user and a conceptual design-object in the context of critical design practices. The scientific novelty lies in presentation of the modern perspectives of foreign theoreticians and practitioners of design that study the question of conceptuality in design within the framework of intellectual practice, focused on generation and improvement of the contentious ideas. Among the main conclusions are: the determined method of critical design based on the principle of “post-optimality” and “para-functionality”; key practices of critical design – design fiction, speculative design, design of critical embodiment, as well as the contexts of their implementation; ambiguous character of critical design-object aimed at generation of discussions and thoughts.

Abstract:
The article describes the conceptual grounds of postcolonial theory and decolonial choice as two contemporary parallel influential theoretical and applied discourses. It presents decolonial aesthesis – the sphere of sensual perception of the world, as an important part of the liberation of knowledge and being from the limitations of Western aesthetics. After a short survey of the main tendencies in the aesthetic thought of the last two decades, the author dwells on such aspects of transcultural transmodern aesthetics as its links with beauty and the correlation of art, aesthesis and knowledge. The article examines in detail the works of several foreign and Russian artists having to do with decolonial aesthesis – Fred Wilson, Pedro Lasch, Tanja Ostojic, Saule Suleymenova, Zorikto Dorzhiev, Taus Makhacheva, Patrice Naiambana, etc. The author comes to a conclusion that border trickster transcultural pluritopic art is the most effective way of decolonizing knowledge, perception and being on the way to a transmodern world.

Abstract:
In the post-revolutionary period avant-garde culture in Odessa was supported by Ukrainian artist M. Boychuk, the follower of D.Rivera and Siqueiros. He and his students were invited to teach at Odessa in Polytechnic Institute of Arts. The main goals of the M.Boychuk’s monumental painting were addressed to the general public. Despite ideological pressing in the USSR art life after the Second World War, the followers of the classical avant-garde arts, Theophilus Fraerman, Michael Zuk, Nicholas Shelyutto continue to work and teach art in Odessa. They created a productive creative environment by teaching their students the taste for philosophical and aesthetic discussions about the language of avant-garde. Traditions of the early avant-garde were then reviewed by their followers, the leaders of nonconformism in the 50 - 60's O. Sokolov and E. Egorov who create a new approach to art.

Abstract:
The interest of researchers towards the museum visitor has heightened over the recent years. However, the understanding of the current situation requires a retrospective culturological analysis of the role of museum in everyday life of a Soviet citizen. To answer this question, the authors referred to the nontraditional for museologists source – the Soviet caricature. The subject of this research is the image of museum in satire and mass consciousness. Special attention is given to such concepts as the image of museum community, museum as a metaphor, and culturetreger function of museum. Based on the content analysis of the visual and descriptive materials of Soviet era, as well as the visual-comparative study of iconographic plots, the article is first to trace the image of Soviet museum and museum visitor in mass consciousness. In majority of cases, an emotional degree of the image of national museum and museum visitor in Soviet caricature is not a harsh satire, but a relatively soft and ideologically moderate humor, aimed at propaganda of the success of Soviet cultural building, although museums are not a frequent visitor on the pages of the Soviet satirical magazine “Krokodil”. A slight burst of museum and near-museum caricature can be traced only in the 1970’s. Quite likely it is related to the development of domestic tourism and new requirements to museums as a part of tourism sphere.

Abstract:
This article attempts to fill the gap associated with the insufficient knowledge on the existing approaches to examination of the phenomenon of power within the framework of semiotics of culture. The subject of the research is the cognitive problems of examination of the phenomenon of power in the works of representatives of the Western European School of semiotics of culture and relevant conceptual approaches to their solution. The object is the oeuvres of the classics specialized in semiotics of culture (semiology) of the XX century: E. Cassirer, R. Barthes, M. Foucault, J. Derrida, G. Deleuze, and J. Baudrillard. Methodological pivot from the positivist paradigm, within the framework of which “power” was studies as a political legal institution, towards postmodernist interpretation of power as a global system of the formation of reality, category of knowledge, and overall subordination to the discursive practices led to substantial expansion of methodological boundaries of the studies of the phenomenon of power. Power becomes an object of research in the context of broad range of disciplines, such as philosophy, history, sociology, linguistics, political anthropology, and culturology. In the conditions of such significant disciplinary diversity, special meaning attains the semiotics of culture as a methodological foundation for further disciplinary synthesis. The conducted analysis allowed detecting the key cognitive issues in examination of the phenomenon of power within the framework of the oeuvres of the indicated authors, and specify the relevant conceptual approaches to their solution. The result explicated the methodological prerequisites for emergence of the modern discipline of the semiotics of culture, which is capable of becoming a theoretical foundation for further analysis of the semiotic algorithms of power relations.

Abstract:
The author of the article makes a hypothesis that the usage of the term 'synergy' can unable a common vision of the human and culture in general as well as cover the gap between the three main approaches to anthropology: natural scientific, philosophical and theological. Based on the aforesaid problem, the author of the article analyzes the definition of synergy. According to the author, the term 'synergy' has a wide scope which includes, first of all, Orthodox theology because synergy is the concept of the mystical ascetic Orthodox tradition of Hesychasm. Secondly, it includes the term 'synergetics' because both of these words have the same root meaning 'common'and 'energy'. Thirdly, it inludes dialectics because synergy is basically a form of the dialectic contradiction. The author of the article offers a definition of synergy as the joint action or interaction of different potentials and energies that share the common orientation at the ideal and achieve the synergetic effect.

Abstract:
The subject of the study is the first stage of the creation of the Beijing Choreographic School, the object of the study is the teacher of the Moscow Choreographic School O. A. Ilyina. Her contribution to the creation of the first professional education system in China is emphasized. The role of Soviet choreographers and teachers who carefully studied the Chinese specifics of teaching is noted. Based on the Russian choreographic education system, with its accumulated valuable theoretical and teaching experience, they laid the foundations for the creation and development of a ballet training system in China, thereby creating a serious basis for the professional development of Chinese classical ballet.    The novelty of the research of this work lies in the analysis of the influence of O.A. Ilyina on the early Chinese ballet. In this regard, the tasks are being formed – to consider the features of her diverse activities in China (first as the creation of the Beijing Choreographic School, then as a teacher who has done a lot to train national ballet cadres) and to assess its significance for the development of Chinese ballet. The scientific novelty of the article is caused by the fact that the activities of O.A. Ilyina in China have not yet been studied.A significant role in the preparation and creation of the first professional ballet school in Beijing was played by teachers of the Moscow Choreographic School at the Bolshoi Theater, in particular Olga Alexandrovna Ilyina.

Abstract:
This article examines the main components of propaganda of the study of the “Brief course of the history of All-Union Communist Party ” inside the organization, as well as among the youth outside the union in Tambov Oblast. The author analyzed the fundamental methods of the study of the “Brief course” among the young generation, as well as the attitude of young men and women towards the history of the All-Union Communist Party, and the consequences of the influence of the falsified history upon the consciousness and public moods of the youth. The relevance of this topic is substantiated by the necessity to cover the historical role of Komsomol in propagandaof the “Brief course of the history of All-Union Communist Party” in the youth environment, as well as the importance of considering the experience of establishment of public consciousness in the conditions of the cult of personality. The geographical framework of the research include the territory of Tambov Oblast. The scientific novelty consists in the fact that for the first time the study of the attitude of the youth towards the “Brief course of the history of All-Union Communist Party” is built upon the resource base of the State Archive of Sociopolitical History of Tambov Oblast. The author makes a conclusion that the examination of the “Brief course of the history of All-Union Communist Party” produced a significant effect upon the establishment of mass interest of the youth in the reading of the history of the All-Union Communist Party, behind which there was often the lack of need for studying the “Stalin encyclopedia”.

Abstract:
The object of this research is the cultural-historical phenomenon of project thinking; the subject is the project manager in their attribute characteristics. The authors examines the phenomenon of project thinking through the prism of the attribute characteristics of “project manager”, identifying their role within the modern cultural project, in the course of which develops the comprehension of cultural project as the boundary of the holistic project culture. This, in turn, increases the appeals to expert assessments on cultural projects yet at their developmental stage. Particular place is given to the study of “Homo projectus” as a new intellectual phenomenon in terms of the “projective” cultural reality that exceeds the limits of the traditional cultural paradigm; simultaneously is implemented the problematization of destructive costs of cultural projecting, considering the specificity of cultural project, which vectors towards the problem of boundaries of the project in culture. The basic methodological instrument is the principle of dialectical equality that allows providing a complete explication of project thinking as a cultural-historical phenomenon. The author also applies the hermeneutic and cultural-semiotic method, thesaurus and context approaches for reconstruction of the concepts “homo projectus”, “cultural project”, “project thinking activity”, “project culture”, etc. The main conclusions consist in the following: 1) the author considers the substantial characteristics of “homo projectus”, including fundamental anthropological and social-transformational manifestations of its activity, which led to determination of the attribute specificity of the existence of “project thought” as a new cultural reality, and description of metamorphoses of project thinking activity in modern cultural practices; 2) the cultural projects is comprehended as a form of temporal consciousness, which allowed determining its framework specificity and distinction of cultural projecting from the “traditional” that sets the schemes of interaction, rather than the attributes of life.

Abstract:
This article is dedicated to comprehension of the idea of technification of body, as well as practical results and consequences of its implementation. The author examines the emergence of individual dimensionality of body, its relevant perception, as well as goals and meanings of the heightened technoscientific attention toward it. The idea of radical transformation of a human, is acquiring the status of feasible, and the purpose of such transformation consists in elimination of natural principles, and thus, predetermination of a human through gradual technification of body — imposition of high technologies for modification of its external and internal structure. A human is essentially opposed to the natural world, his initial biological “insufficiency” assigns the ability to transcend the givenness, which underlies the establishment and evolution of culture. Such circumstance in a certain way is the cause of instrumental attitude to the body, which is of biological origin. In the process of cultural development, body acquires the status of personal property, which means liberation from its nonhuman determination. In the modern context, the aforementioned trends supported by technological progress and transhumanist expectations, result in the fact that body as a "soma", as a local autopoietic biosystem is being abated. The elimination of the purpose of human body set by nature is interpreted as “self-sovereignty"; however, the abolition of natural determinism implies the emergence of technological determinism.

The initiation process includes not only practice of physical skills, but also ability to fashion the lasso for throwing, which takes place in the process of passing down knowledge from father to son. For confirmation of their status, a child demonstrates the ability to throw the lasso in the course of various competitions, which are a part of the process of ethnopedagogical activity and allows assessing the level of preparedness. The results of the field research demonstrates that the competitions are organized differently for different age groups. Abstract:
The subject of this research is Jean-Christophe Maillot’s interpretation of the images of Katherine and Petruchio in the context of ideological-imagery parallels with the original text – W. Shakespeare’s comedy "The Taming of the Shrew". The article determines the expressive means and choreographic elements used by the choreographer to stage the lead roles, as well as their contextual comparison with the original literary text. The theoretical framework leans on the principles of ballet analysis developed by the ballet theoretician and historians Dobrovolskaya, Krasovskaya, Slonimsky, and Surits. The works by Lopukhov serve as the methodological basis for analysis of the shape and choreography. Other sources include video materials from the archives of Monte Carlo Ballet and Bolshoi Theater, recordings of staged rehearsals that took place from April to June 2014 (author's archive). The research employs the methods of ideological-artistic analysis, semantic analysis of construction and choreographic solution of the roles of Katherine and Petruchio, as well as method of included observation (personal participation in the performance). The novelty lies in revealing the innovative and modernized classical elements of choreography and staging developed by Maillot (leitmotif plasticity combinations, transforming symbolic moves). The detailed semantic analysis of the composition and choreography f the images of Katherine and Petruchio became the main instrument of research and allowed making the following conclusions. Interpretation of the images of the protagonists in the first act is conceptually similar to Shakespeare's text and slightly adapted in accordance with the expressive potential of ballet art and authorial artistic tasks. In the second act, the choreographer shifts the compositional and plotline focus, highlighting not the final scenes, but the full-scale duet of the protagonists, where the plasticity solution is transformed depending on the changes in their emotional states. Namely abstract and visual plasticity ideation individualizes the choreographic style of Maillot and underlies his interpretation of the profound plotline of Shakespeare's comedy.

The main conclusion of the work is a statement of the phenomenon of the beauty of the body in terms of its dynamism. Throughout all the ages, there were several female characters who succeeded each other: the image of the girl - teenager (thin, sometimes even painfully thin, with angular figure); the second image based on a sports figure, and the third image of a beautiful woman - bursting with "healthy body" (like on paintings of B. Kustodiev or P. Rubens). The phenomenon of "feminine beauty" is inherently socio-cultural, its interpretation varied depending on the status of women in society, from existing in a certain era of gender relations. Feminine beauty in its many interpretations paired with age, is associated with youth, it is attributed to the fragility.

The subject of this research is the media image of Russian in a glossy magazine, while the object is the photographs in the glossy magazine “Vogue”. The goal of this work is the reconstruction of Russia’s image as a polysemantic text through the retrospective of illustrations on the “Russian theme”. Russian ballet, train stations, old mansions, fur hats and coats, birchwood, kokoshnik, and other cultural elements create a distinguish artistic reality, and text created from the allusions and quotes. Meanings of the text are extended over time, acquiring the historical memory and generating the new messages. Methodological foundation of the work contains the semantic analysis, which allowed revealing the components of Russia’s image in a glossy magazine. The scientific novelty lies in the fact that the image of Russian in a glossy magazine represents a media image leaning on the well-known stereotypes, repeating storylines, themes, and details. It is noticeable that the stereotypes have not changed much throughout the fairly long history of the magazine. Basic stereotypes include the Russian winter, folklore, ballet, and space. Among the leading aspects depicting the image of Russia in the Vogue magazine, can be highlighted the portrait images of the prominent of cultural figures, winter subject, ballet themes, temples, monasteries, folklore and “Soviet” motifs, themes of space and carnival. An important place in establishing the image of Russian in a glossy magazine belongs to the architectural landscape, mostly expressed in a Petersburg and Moscow texts. Russia’s image is created using multiple details that refer to the popular stereotypes. The image of Russia also has a feature of citationality – when the photographers refer to the historical and literary material: revolution and White movement, history of ballet, as well as characters from the compositions of L. N. Tolstoy, I. A. Bunin, B. L. Pasternak.

Abstract:
The subject of this research is the socio-psychological functions of faith, fear, laughter, and enthusiasm in the semantic inversion of imageries of social realism, social art, and conceptualism. The goal of this work is to follow the dynamics of a cultural archetype within the history of the Soviet art, its historical links and transformations. The author pursues correlation between the images of faith, fear, laughter, and enthusiasm as the semantic codes that define the ideological orientation of development of art systems in the history of Soviet art. The method of semantic analysis of the cultural codes of social realism, social art, and conceptualism allows cognizing the role of the collective unconscious in establishment and transformation of the cultural archetypes in Soviet art. In this article the author poses a question about the role of emotional expressiveness of images in the Soviet art in a new way. The author demonstrates how the fear, laughter, and enthusiasm in the art of social realism and post-Soviet avant-garde unite into the symmetrically-opposing semiotic-culturological projections. The issue of semantic inversion in art from social realism to conceptualism the author associates with the analysis of the role of ideological reforms in establishment and development of a cultural archetype.

Abstract:
This article is dedicated to the questions of interpretation of instrumental genre in art music (concerto grosso, suite, instrumental music concert, symphony) in the context of stylistic dialogue with rock music started at the turn of the 1960’s – 1970’s. The compositions “at the intersection” of rock and art music, attributed by the composers (primarily rock musicians) as “symphony”, “concert”, etc. are analyzed. The author explores the stylistic peculiarities, and determines that in most cases the methods of formation and development of musical content characteristic to the rock music, such as rhythmic and melodic ostinato, dynamic pick up, and timbre variation, come to the fore. Attention is given to the questions of the unity of cycle, intonation and structural lings in the particular musical compositions. Research methodology combines the musicological and historical-culturological approaches; leans on the works of M. Arnovsky, T. Didenko, V. Konen, V. Syrov, A. Ysuker and other scholars. The author introduces into the scientific discourse new material from the field of rock music (In Spe - Typewriter Concerto in D Major, Kostarev Group – Concerto Grosso #1); determines the specificities of genre interpretation of the famous pieces (Deep Purple – Concerto for Group and Orchestra). The conclusion is made that the compositional principles of rock music and the sound material withstand the “dialecticity” of the classical sonata allegro, although the functional load of the parts of sonata-symphonic cycle retains most of the time. However, the pre-classical types of multi-frequency composition and the related principles of concentration, contrast and playing acquire an important meaning.

Abstract:
The subject of this research is the suggestive techniques of screenwriting on various level of perception of the movie, which engage the audience into cinematographic scene. The majority of movies reproduce the topic of social taboo, pulling upon the forbidden desires, and thus, instigating the audience. Such movies intend to distort the socially accepted moral and ethical restrictions, blurring the boundaries of the generally accepted standard. Alongside the violation of social taboo, one of the most important elements of drawing attention of the audience is unpredictability, used in dramaturgy to create an effect of incompleteness of story and the desire to reveal it. The research is based on the analytical and comparative methods, which allow analyzing particular effects intended by the author at the conceptual and dramaturgical level of the screen work. As a suggestive dramaturgical element, unpredictability can be reflected as a deferred event or a unpredictability that forms the screen image and character of the hero. Analysis is conducted on the movies “The Return” (2003), “Loveless” (2017) directed by Andrey Zvyagintsev; “Fight Club” (1999) directed by David Fincher; “The Departed” (2006) directed by Martin Scorsese; “Melancholia” (2011) directed by Lars von Trier. The research result consists in characterization of the modern trend of preserving unpredictability within a narrative structure of the movie to maintain non-triviality of the storyline.

This article is dedicated to examination of transformations in educational process during pandemic. Relevance of the selected topic is substantiated by the current cultural realities: contagion of coronavirus infection, quarantine, imposed restrictions, and thus, the need for restructuring communication channels in sociocultural reality, namely with regards to educational space. The goal consists in the analysis of new forms of communication, organizational education technologies that appeared in media space under the indicated circumstances. Characteristics is given to distance learning and communications means for its implementation. The author describes synchronous, asynchronous, and mixed learning techniques, as well as their substantive aspects. Such type of distance learning as online courses is being discussed. Particular attention is turned to the peculiarities of final academic assessment in the context of quarantine or self-isolation. In the conditions caused by pandemic, there emerges a need for more active usage of media space for arranging social, economic, and educational processes. The sphere of education, which is also related to health care of young generation, undergoes transformation taking into account the relevant sociocultural realities caused by pandemic. Such previously extracurricular forms of learning as synchronous, asynchronous, mixed, and online courses enjoy popularity, and even become essential. Final academic assessment in the conditions of imposed restrictions and distance learning acquires twofold meanings: on the one hand, there is a risk for distortion of perception of information in the course of graduate paper presentation, while on the other hand it forms a more comfortable psychological environment for the student due to being in a familiar environment. The newly established situation for culture and education in particular is the prime subject for researchers.

Abstract:
The subject of this research is the range of primary emotions experienced by the medieval Tamil Shaiva bhakti poets who lived in the VI-IX centuries. A profound emotional and aesthetic component of their works and biographies became a part of Shaiva poetic canon “Panniru Thirumurai”, which has records of the new ritual of worshipping Shiva, notable for the heightened emotional involvement (bhakti) of believers. The canon retains its relevance in modern India, being the source of the daily religious practice. As a result, the author reveals the presence of a substantial range of emotions in the works of all primary authors of the canon – from contemptuous-depreciative up to the absolute bliss. The consciously cultivated heightened emotionality of the adept provoked the reaching of the vivid altered states of mind, including insanity as the pinnacle of emotional hierarchy. It is demonstrated that the achievement of such altered state became a necessary condition for following the path of bhakti-yoga and the main trigger launching the mechanisms of poetry writing and visualization of Shiva’s manifestations.

Abstract:
The subject of this research is the phenomenon of corporeality and transformation of the model of body in Tamil Saiva-bhakti. The author examines the notional variations of these practices presented in texts of the canon “Panniru Thirumurai”. Description of the path to God as individual practice of a single bhakt comprises the content of Manickavasagar's “Thiruvasagam” (8th book of the canon), while the meticulous description and classification of different variations of the path with detailed recommendations on the improvement of adept’s body are contained in Thirumoolar's “Thirumanthiram” (10th book of the canon). Using the comparative analysis of texts of the canon, the author reveals the formation of the new model of body of the bhakt, which led to changes in the ritual and iconography of temple’s adornment. It is concluded that in the writings of Tamil bhakti poets of the VI-IX centuries has been formed a new representation on Shiva and the new model of adept’s body. The own body initially was perceived as an obstacle in the path to liberation. The extreme forms such attitude obtained in the works of Manickavasagar. Thirumoolar described the new model of adept’s body as the key instrument for achieving mukti. Further development of this model led to advancement of the yogic and alchemic practices in the tradition of Siddhi for acquisition of body that is immortal, perfect, and not subject to corruption. Visionary representations of bhakts led to the drastic transformation of iconographic system of Shivaist temple, realized by Chola Dynasty rulers in the X-XII centuries. Tamil bhakts created a universal complex of spiritual practices, focusing on the work with body, as well as consciousness – through the transformation of body. Such practices not only retained their relevance and practical implementation, but also became widely known outside the region.

Abstract:
This article focuses on the phenomenon of Korean diaspora in Kazakhstan – a unique phenomenon in the diaspora studies. Having a racial-anthropological homogeneity with the inhabitants of Korean Peninsula, the Koreans of Kazakhstan have lost multiple ethnic traits: native language, anthroponymy, blood relationships on their historical homeland. Despite this fact, the representatives of Korean ethnos identify themselves as part of the ancient Korean culture, honor their native traditions, and state their nationality as “Korean” in the population census. An important role in conveyance of culture and spiritual values of the diaspora is played by public organizations. The Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, Association of the Koreans of Kazakhstan, State Republican Academic Korean Theater of Musical Comedy, and Korean House are the anchors that support the diaspora and contribute to preservation of historical belonging and self-consciousness. Methodological framework is comprised of historiographical analysis of the works of Korean studies scholars dedicated to the history of Korean diaspora in Central Asia, monitoring of the legislative framework of Kazakhstan and news agenda, interviews of individual representatives of the diaspora. The conducted research proves that diasporality is a more vital form of preservation of ethnocultural identity than the ethnic attribution by linguistic or anthropological principle. Living far from their historical homeland for centuries, the representatives of Koryo-Saram continue identifying themselves as Koreans. They have gone through the key stages of assimilation, integrated into the system of social relations, and consider themselves Kazakhs of Korean descent. As long as the indicated ethnocultural group acknowledges its uniqueness and difference from other ethnic groups of Kazakhstan, the diasporic self-consciousness, Korean diaspora and its institutions would exists.

Abstract:
In the contemporary art of China, a special role belongs to painting on a military theme. Its formation began in connection with the need to keep a visual chronicle of the revolutionary struggle for the New China, the assertion of its status in the eyes of the people. Initially, realism was chosen as the main artistic method. By the turn of the XX and XXI centuries, as a result of the influence of modern art trends, a "new realism" emerged. The subject of this article is the pictorial work of contemporary Chinese artists who dedicate their paintings to military subjects and themes. He pays special attention to the art criticism analysis of the formal and substantive side of the paintings of the late XX – early XXI centuries. The main conclusion of the study is the establishment of the fact that under the influence of the so-called "new realism" Chinese painting associated with images of war, army, navy, has changed in the direction of images relevant to the era, as well as methods and techniques of image construction. However, at the same time, it should be noted that there is still a connection with traditions, which allows us to characterize the process of evolution of the Chinese school of battle painting. The novelty of the article is the introduction to the scientific circulation of Russian art criticism of a series of paintings by Chinese masters devoted to military topics. In general, the battle genre in Chinese painting is associated in the work with the formation of the People's Republic of China and is considered in a political and socio-cultural context.

Abstract:
One of the relevant tasks of the modern science of music is the examination of ethnic cultures. The object of this research is the piano music of the Buryat composer Yuri Irineevich Irdyneev. The subject is the peculiarities of realization of ethnic traditions in his piano compositions. Abstract:
This article examines the sonata for solo harp No. 2 "Epic sound patterns" by Valery Kikta in order to identify the genre features that form the basis of the artistic task. The Russian harp school has passed its own path of formation and has a recognized authority. Despite this fact, compositions for solo harp in the works of modern Russian authors are quite rare. Valery Kikta became one of the composers seeking to revive interest in the national harp art and advocating the preservation of tradition. His main achievement in this field is not only in the creation of new music, firmly included in the performing and concert repertoire, but also participation in the organization of the Russian Harp Society.
The three iconic characteristics of the composition analyzed by the author of the article – genre, timbre and fret – made it possible to define a work of musical art as a text that can be deciphered. In the process of work, special attention is paid to the detailed characteristics of traditional and innovative ways of working with the material. Special emphasis is placed on the search for links with the Russian school of composition and its characteristic reliance on national culture. The semiosis of the sonata and its constituent expressive features of the musical language are determined. The symbolism of the epic in combination with the software component announced by the author made it possible to discover the "message" contained in it.

Abstract:
In the present article to your attention the sociocultural process of symbolization success as a subject of study is defined as an objective of the dynamic phenomena in the framework of social communication, which has been reflected in historical eventful and cultural artifacts of human activity. Based on the generated ideas about the phenomenon of success in cultural and philological studies, we stress the need to study the procedural nature of the designated object. Hypothetically, we believe that the dynamics of the process of symbolization success reflects patterns of social and cultural development of mankind as a global system of non-hereditary information in the interaction of its constituent elements. We remain in positions of general scientific system of philosophical and analytical method to summarize the accumulated theoretical and empirical material of modern science.Although we conclude the feasibility to develop their own analytical method would not only reveal the detailed sociocultural phenomenon being studied, but also enrich the methodological basis of analysis of Cultural Studies. We believe that cognitive and perceptual components of the perception of the individual social and cultural environment are mediated by the same culture and equally participate in its cybernetic model in the form of atomic semantic structures

Abstract:
The object of this research is the plot of D. D. Shostakovich’s ballet “The Limpid Stream”. The subject is the interpretation of this plot in the versions of F. G Lopukhov (1935) and A. O. Ratmansky (2003), as well as peer review on these spectacles. The goal of this work consists in determination of the crucial for the concepts of ballet masters differences of libretto (as a literary foundation of the plot) in the three versions of the ballet, and comparison of perception of the plot in the year of its first staging and at the present. The considered problematic required application of historical approach – attraction of the materials and articles for the period of 1935-1936. The historiographical analysis allowed translating and examining one of the most recent peer reviews on the spectacle – the English-language reviews on the “Limpid Stream” of Ratmansky, presented on the London tour of Bolshoi Theatre in August 2019. The article also utilizes practical experience of author’s work with Ratmansky and participation in the aforementioned tours (performing the role of Zina). The main tool for solution of the set problem became the comparative analysis of the varieties of libretto (authors – Lopukhov and Piotrovsky) of the three versions of ballet “The Limpid Stream”. It is concluded that the first versions of ballet were popular among the public, but aroused negative or ambiguous feedback, which led to the removal of spectacle from the repertoire. The last version is regularly performed in the repertoire of Bolshoi Theatre, including on the tour, being well regarded by the public and sophisticated British critics.

Abstract:
The subject of this research is flat design as the basic sylistics and visual expression of the era of hypermodernism. Since modern design no longer corresponds to the characteristics of postmodernism, an assumption is made on the advent of the new period in design – hypermodernism. Hypermodernism is the term that implies the enhancement of design trends founded in the era of modernism: orientation towards modernity, design for manufacturability, split with the past, and absence of aesthetic hierarchy. Flat design is a style that visually expresses the aforementioned trends. The research material includes the final research projects in graphic design, interior design and industrial design, completed by the students of the department of Design of the Moscow Power Engineering Institute and the department of Graphic Design and Visual Communications of the Russian State University named after A. N. Kosygin. The article employs the method of semiotic analysis, which allows determining the key attributes used in flat design explicating the essential characteristics of flat design. The conclusion is made that flat design reflects the basic request of the era of hypermodernism – democratization of mentality, leveling of any differences up to the destruction of individuality. The idea of leveling of social differences, underlying the design of modernism, in hypermodernism reaches the idea of erasing any differences, any hierarchy, including the aesthetic. The presence of aesthetic hierarchy in design suggests the use of expressive means – index signs, iconic signs, and symbolic signs. The deconstruction of aesthetic hierarchy leads to the use of unexpressive signs – simulacrums. Most unexpressive sign is the fourth-stage simulacra – the sign, which relationship to any reality is reduced to zero. Flat design uses fourth-stage simulacra as the main form, thus meeting the demand of hypermodernism.

Abstract:
This article is first to conduct a comparative analysis of the biographies of two prominent Soviet painters – A. M. Gerasimov and S. V. Gerasimov. Emphasis is placed on the vectors and stages of the institutional biography of the artists, rather than their creative and personal life. People of the same generation, same education, virtually same life length, they were inscribed into a single system of cultural institutions, sought to achieve career success as the Soviet painters. At the same time, Aleksandr Gerasimov became the personification of the Stalinist era in art, having received all the highest posts and awards in the country, while Sergei Gerasimov throughout the 1930s – 1950s, although was officially recognized as a talented master, caused suspicions among the country’s leadership due to "proclivity for formalism". Thus, being a fairly successful artist, pedagogue and administrator, he was significantly inferior to his namesake in hierarchical ranking. A long life (both masters lived for about 80 years) allows considering the variations of the fate of the “elite” Soviet painters at the turn of eras. The “Thaw” was the time of “overthrow” of one artist and the “rise” of the other. Previous tremendous career achievements of Aleksandr Gerasimov were interpreted as a reflection of unscrupulousness of the painter, and less grandiose successes of Sergei Gerasimov were perceived as a sign of his behavioral reservedness. The fates of two outstanding Soviet painters demonstrate the invariants of institutional biography of the Soviet artist. Different proportions of talent, conformism, ambitions, and strive to achieve material wealth became the key components that led to different formulas for career success and different perception of such success by the contemporaries.

Abstract:
The key goals of this research consists in assessment and comparative analysis of the help of family in large postindustrial societies. For this purpose, the author carries out a cross-cultural comparative study of the frequency of family contacts in the three countries: Russia, the United States, and Brazil. Based on the 2019 online survey, the author collected quantitative data on the involvement of grandparents into upbringing process of their grandchildren in Russia (N=620), USA (N=308) and Brazil (N=603). In addition to the basic biosocial demographic parameters, the survey included two target questions on the frequency of communication between grandparents and grandchildren. Intensive migration processes and the resulting distance of households between the two generations in the indicated countries substantially reduces the traditional help of grandparents in upbringing the younger generation. The acquired data demonstrate the significant differences that take place in these three countries, and their correlation with the peculiarities of the family lifestyle in other countries. For example, the help of grandparents in Brazil is much lower than in Russia. Comprehensive analysis is also conducted on the factors that reduce the involvement of grandparents in upbringing of their grandchildren in Brazil. The decrease in the frequency of family contacts may be associated with the intensive urbanization processes unfolding in Brazil over the few recent decades. At the same time, the acquired data may reflect the in-depth processes of feminization of migration from less developed regions of the world to more economically prosperous countries. The analysis of the observed consequences of accelerated urbanization in Brazil is of applied importance for understanding the future prospects for the development of modern family.

Abstract:
The paper examines the question of tradition as it was raised by theoretical thought of the West in the XVII-XVIII centuries and then was being reconsidered throughout the whole XX century by leading scholars in the field of cultural (social) anthropology, sociology, cultural studies, memory studies, etc. The author of the article pays special attention to transformations in understanding of tradition occurred at the end of XX – the beginning of the XXI centuries, among which the issue in 1983 in Cambridge the anthology «The invention of tradition» (edited by E. J. Hobsbawm and T. O. Ranger) is emphasized. The methods of of theoretical cultural research are used, as well as the genetic method allowing to give the characteristic to the phenomenon proceeding from the features of its origin, and partly the approach of comparative studies are used. We make correlations between "traditiology" and memory studies as the same area of complex study of phenomenon of transfer of cultural information and constantly developed process of reconstruction of culture. We also trace correlation between “tradition studies” and memory studies as representing, in fact, the same area of interdisciplinary study of transmission of cultural information and constantly developing process of reconstruction of culture.

Abstract:
Nowadays we mention cross-cultural communication mostly when we speak of teaching foreign languages or a relatively recent, independent and popular science that has been created under the conditions of the multipolar academic world. However, communication between different civilizations had already existed in ancient times long before science even appeared. Noteworthy that many contemporary processes related to cross-cultural communication have historical grounds and roots in distant epochs. In his article Flerov pays special attention to historical aspects of cross-cultural communication, its contemporary issues and trends. As a research method Flerov has used the historical analysis of the phenomenon of cross-cultural communication and comparison of the most significant aspects of cross-cultural communication in the past and today. The main conclusions made by the author can be reduced to the statement that unlike in previous epochs, today there is a certain need to arrange for effective cross-cultural contacts at all levels which would be impossible without theoretical substantiation of cross-cultural communication and development of the concept of cross-cultural communication to be then applied to the practice of multicultural interaction. The novelty of the research is caused by the fact that the researcher provides a brief description of historical aspects of cross-cultural communication that are presented with reference to contemporary issues which allows to make a conclusion about historical roots of cross-cultural communication as a phenomenon and a branch of knowledge.

Abstract:
In the presented article, the object of research is the commemorative practices of cultural and historical reconstruction. The subject of the study is the inversion of temporality in the festival practices of cultural and historical reconstruction. The purpose of the article is to reveal the specifics of temporal representations of historical reenactors through the prism of the concept of inversion of social time. To achieve it, a secondary analysis of the interview data of the organizers and participants of the festival of historical reconstruction "Times and Epochs" was carried out. The empirical base of the study was made up of materials from Russian media. The most informative was the content of the portal "The City", which posted interviews with participants of the historical reconstruction movement representing various Russian cities, socio-demographic and professional groups of the population. The novelty of the research is the introduction of new theoretical and empirical material into scientific circulation. For the first time in the context of the temporal approach, memorial culture and cultural and historical reconstruction are considered as significant and effective factors of the collective format commemoration. The analysis allowed the authors of the article to determine the multivariability of motivations and intentions that form the basis of commemorative practices of cultural and historical reconstruction. The festival "Times and Epochs" is considered by the authors of the article as an example of non-traditional commemorative practices, where the subject of commemorative activity is the collective past, actualized in the socio-cultural space of the metropolis within the framework of the project-network approach. The problems of the development of the festival as a memorial project, the prospects of its integration into the urban environment are revealed.

Abstract:
The subject of this research is the policy and public work of Komsomol and manifestations of the cults of V. I. Lenin and I. V. Stalin during its implementation in the 1950’s. The author examines their influence upon the political culture of the Soviet youth. Special attention is given to the manifestations of cult in literature and visual art. At the same time, the author took into consideration the specificity of the youth consciousness justified by the age, as well as by the status of youth as a social group. It is highlighted that as a rule, young men and women stood out in their lack of life goals, indecisiveness of social orientations, and incompleteness of the process of formation of their own ideology. The Komsomol is being viewed as a sociocultural phenomenon. It is demonstrated that in fight against cult of personality, Komsomol (as well as the government) was not consistent. Not denying the direction of disenchantment of the personality cult itself, in the late 1950’s, Komsomol more often expressed intolerance towards the supporters of a radical rejection from the cult political behavior. Unlike the previous years, Lenin’s cult did not serve as an instrument of strengthening the cult of Stalin, but rather contributed into the strengthening of the Komsomol political leadership, as well as added “sacredness” to the political regime.

The changes occurred in life of the highlanders after this historical act under the influence of the cultural figures of Russia and inclusion of the North Caucasus into the orbit of the capitalist relations, initiated the spread of education and literacy among them. The historical-comparative method allowed analyzing the comparable facts and based on that determine the regularities and specificities of the path of regional processes in sociocultural sphere. The article proves that the progress in sociocultural development of the aforementioned period led to the social-spiritual and political-economic revival of the highlander tribes, although there was still lack of educated people and schools. The national intelligentsia has just recently began its inception. Certain improvements in the school system, which emerged by the beginning of the XX century, primarily was determined by the active positions of the residents themselves. Casual and work clothing was greatly influence by the costume of indigenous peoples of the region, mostly it regards to winter clothing of indigenous communities, which generated a mixed (polyethnic) type of winter clothing of the Starozhily. The ceremonial costume did not undergo any transformations. Festive garments retained national traditions; however, at the turn of the centuries it was losing the distinct national attributes. Special attention is given to determination of the sources of artistic distinctness and transformation of adornments throughout the period of existence of the site as the basis of restorative practices (on the example of a particular temple). Such analysis may become the foundation for methodological recommendations on restoration of the objects of cultural heritage of religious designation. The author concludes that the claccisistic cathedral obtained its image due to the activity of the Empress Catherine II and Archbishop Gavriil (Petrov), conveying the supporters of different worldviews – secular and sacral – the spirit of symphony and mutual reconciliation. Examination of the artistic distinctness of the cathedral and its present popularization allows understanding the non-liturgical (universal cultural) significance of the Holy Trinity Cathedral of the Alexander Nevsky Lavra, and contributes to carrying out comprehensive scientific restoration.

Abstract:
The object of this research is the philosophical reasoning of intelligentsia on the spiritual paths of Russia in the context of historical transformations of the turn of the XIX-XX centuries. The subject of this research is the cultural phenomenon of “festivities”. In description of the philosophical meaning of the concept of “religion”, the author, leaning on differentiation of the religious denominations proposed by D. V. Pivovarov, gradually classifies the ideological and religious pursuits of intelligentsia in accordance with the cosmocentric, sociocentric, and egocentric forms of religions. Introducing the concept of “festivity”, the attention is focused on the life-purpose ideals suggested by intelligentsia as a culture-forming grounds for the development of Russia. Methodologically determinative for this research are the works of D. V. Pivovarov, S. S. Horuzhy, as well as the works of religious philosophers of the silver age. The scientific novelty lies in the presented experience of culturological analysis of historical situation of the silver age, and the religious search of intelligentsia through the methodological prism of the concept of synergy and theory of “festivity”. The category of “festivity” allows accenting attention of the forms of the Absolute and approaches towards it, proposed by intelligentsia as a goal of cultural development.

Abstract:
This article explores the specificity of teaching piano class in the university in the conditions of distance learning. The author suggests to consider distance learning as an active method of carrying out cognitive activity, i.e. a method of educating future piano performers, as well as from the perspective of modern organizational innovation. The article gradually covers certain historical prerequisites for the existence of distance learning method in music education in the middle of the XX century, as well as the conditions for its successful implementation. The author describes the formats of distance learning, Internet platforms that allow online and offline interaction of the participants of educational process. Based on the opinions of reputable educators-performers, as well leaning on the own experience of teaching classes remotely, the author determines the practical significance and feasibility of using the distance form of learning as a method of teaching future musicians. The conclusion is made that the all-round modernization, implementation and development of distance learning technology in the sphere of traditional education does not take into account the specificity of music and art universities. Despite all the flaws and imperfections of distance innovation, the author finds positive aspects, which would allow the pedagogues to implement distance learning to a certain extent for achieving certain educational objectives.

Abstract:
In the presented work as object of research the fundamental contradiction between culture and a civilization which began to be shown especially sharply at a stage of transformation of industrial society in the information phase acts, one of sides of manifestation of this contradiction is process of informatization of society and in particular, in the field of the higher education.Object of research is studying of quality of education, especially humanitarian block connected with introduction in educational process of modern information, computer technologies. In research the special attention is paid to the culturological analysis of the reasons and factors, those negative tendencies which take place at the higher school in connection with wide use of informatization and a computerization in educational process. As practice shows these results in many respects contradictory and even the negative. In work the author concentrated the attention, first of all, on the analysis of the objective reasons which lead to such results. Using, mainly culturological approach, the author estimates results of work of the higher school in the sphere of informatization through a prism of criteria of culture. That, in our opinion, allows to see not only these results including negative, but to understand the nature of these reasons. As the main method of research the dialectic method of consideration and the analysis of the contradictions arising in the course of interaction of culture and a civilization including in its such aspect where the culture and a civilization interact in a particular treatment - in education where today means of informatization and computer technologies are widely used was used. On the basis of the analysis of the available facts the author comes to a conclusion about that, education this that area of human, cultural space where means of civilization impact on the person are not always adequate to his nature, and before in the sphere of knowledge, knowledge and formation of outlook and the cultural environment. Therefore absolutization of means of electronic influence and information support in education aren't always useful, and in the sphere of humanitarian preparation yield negative results. Oblivion of traditional methods of work with students, absolutization of the knowledge paradigm, to the detriment of the principles of education, narrows formation at future citizens of the country of human qualities. Without development human in the person - development of society is impossible. Eventually, not equipment and technology have to operate the world, and the person.Novelty of work consists in a new foreshortening of consideration of a problem, in those culturological approaches and criteria which will help to understand better the burning issues connected with improvement of quality of modern education. The criteria of culture which are initial in an assessment of university graduates allow to find the new methodological and methodical tools promoting development of more effective technologies in educational process.

Abstract:
The article is dedicated to the analysis of the status of Russian language abroad, as well as measures aimed at strengthening of its positions. Years after the collapse of the Soviet Union, the Russian language became not so popular for studying, thus the modern mechanisms regarding its promotion have outdated and lose their effectiveness. The work examines the potential opportunities and actions for strengthening of the humanitarian and political influence of Russia in near abroad and Western countries. The comparative-historical and institutional approaches comprised the theoretical-methodological foundation of this research.
