Abstract: The object of research in our article is body images in the lyrics of the non-classical stage of the poetics of artistic modality (in the terminology of S. N. Broitman). The subject of research in this article is a specific way of depicting a lyrical subject and/or a lyrical character, in which his body is experienced (comprehended, evaluated) by himself as something separate, independently existing (or the body of a lyrical character is comprehended by a lyrical subject as something independent in relation to his inner world, "soul"). The article examines various methods of bodily objectification in non-classical lyrics based on the material of a number of lyrical works of the twentieth century. The scientific novelty of the research is determined, firstly, by the insufficient study of the artistic specificity of bodily images in lyrics as a kind of literature in general, secondly, by the lack of clarity of the artistic specificity of bodily images in the lyrics of the non-classical stage of the poetics of artistic modality, and thirdly, by the unexplored phenomenon of bodily objectification in both classical and modern lyrics. As a result of the conducted research, a number of conclusions were made. 1. A common feature of bodily objectification in lyrics (with all the variety of its depiction in specific texts) is the following: the perception by the lyrical subject of his body / the body of the lyrical character as another (related to the outside world) while maintaining an actual connection with him. 2. In the works of non-classical lyrics, two main variants of the image of bodily objectification are distinguished: a) in the image of a lyrical subject /character, the body is opposed to the "I"; b) in the image of a lyrical subject / character, the body is opposed to the "I", as well as to a certain extent to the objectified inner principle - the "soul".

Abstract: The object of this research is the poetics of J. Brodsky's cycle “Part of Speech” as literary unity. The subject of this research is the subjective organization of poems included in the cycle “Part of Speech”. Special attention is given to the nature of value attitude of the lyrical object towards other characters depicted in poems of the cycle. Such attitude is viewed as an aspect of authorial artistic reflection and assessment of depicted reality. Following the footsteps of S. N. Broytman, the author interprets the lyrical object as a speech bearer, as well as the main (encompassing other) perspective on the world in the poem. The lyrical character is a supported character, being assessed by the lyrical object (lyrical characters include a “lyrical addressee” and “lyrical You”). The scientific novelty of this research consists in viewing the nature of value attitude of the lyrical objects towards other lyrical characters in the “Part of Speech” as an aspect of poetics of the cycle as literary unity (previous studies were dedicated only to separate poems of J. Brodsky’s cycle). The analysis of selected texts of the cycle indicates the specific nature of the relationship between lyrical object and other characters depicted in the poems: 1. the relationship of the lyrical object with other characters (the lyrical heroine, “You”, etc.) is built as an anti-dialogue, demonstrating total loneliness of the lyrical object; 2. The theme of loneliness in the cycle also intersects with the artistic images for yourself; 3. in the “Part of Speech”, the forms of indirect representation of the lyric object (when the lyrical subject refers to himself as another) also point at his self-centeredness, loneliness, and disruption of ties with others.

Abstract: The scope of the research covers bodily images presented in the lyrics of the non-classical stage of the poetics of artistic modality (the end of the XIX - XX centuries). The subject of the research is the body of a lyrical subject or character depicted in fragmentation in poems relating to this stage of poetics. The article is aimed at identifying certain artistic meanings expressed in the works of non-classical lyric images of physical fragmentation. In the article, the phenomenon of corporeal fragmentation in the lyrics of the non-classical stage of the poetics of artistic modality is examined on the material of D. Merezhkovsky, I. Brodsky, and S. Plat. The phenomenon of bodily fragmentation is discussed in this article from the standpoint of historical poetics. The main methods of research are the method of immanent analysis of the figurative structure of the work, aimed at identifying the meaning of specific images, as well as the comparative method associated with identifying and describing similar features of the poetics of works related to the non-classical stage of artistic modality poetics. The scientific novelty of the research is determined, firstly, by the fact that the semantics of bodily images in the works of non-classical lyricism remains insufficiently studied; secondly, by the fact that the artistic specificity of images of bodily fragmentation in the lyric works of the non-classical stage of the poetics of artistic modality remains unexplained. The article first identifies and describes the semantic parameters of images of bodily fragmentation in non-classical lyrics.
