Abstract: The article describes political aspects of such terms as “economic security”, “guarantees of economic security”. The author analyzes the development of the Russian state policy of the post-Soviet period in the sphere of guarantees of economic security. The author points out the problems of economic security, which remain unsolved in the modern strategic documents. Then the author offers the directions for the further improvement of the state policy in this sphere.
