Levin, V. I. Martin Heidegger and the Third Reich

Abstract: Based on the example of Martin Heidegger’s life and activity in Nazi Germany, the author of the article describes the problem of relations between a major scientist and the power of a totalitarian state. It is shown that Heidegger was an active member of the Nazi party and personality participated in practical implementation of their program.
