Abstract: The subject of the research is the authentic aspects of the development of individuality in the Tuvan culture, built on syncretism, uniting man and nature. In such a system, society is organically included in the structure of nature. It is important to take into account that the individual is not thought of as an indivisible object of social relations, since in mythology and the religious system there are examples of likening man to any other living beings and dividing the soul into components or types. Also, the subject of the research stands out in the traditional culture, focused on continuity between generations and the preservation of ancient forms of worldview. However, understanding the ideological and cultural reasons for the emergence of new forms of individuality in Tuvan culture allows us to solve the problems of social policy, cultural policy and pedagogy. The conclusions of the study are the definition of differences in the development of individuality in the European cultural tradition and Tuvan culture. It is determined that the very concept of individuality is formed in European culture on the basis of a religious worldview, in which the concepts of the Absolute, substance and soul are formed. These concepts in Tuvan culture do not have identical forms, which is proven in the authentic forms of understanding man and soul. Universals of thinking, which inevitably developed in European culture, were not created in Tuvan culture, which operates only with a locus. The article also revealed that Tuvan culture is characterized by contextuality, leading to a shift in the source of individuality towards nature and society. As a result, it was found that individuality in Tuvan culture is revealed in the inclusion of a person in a complex of natural objects that have absolute value and uniqueness.

Abstract: The article reveals the problem of the need to build ethnopedagogical methods through instilling the fundamental meanings of the worldview of traditional culture. The authors point out the inconsistency of the superficial application in the practice of ethnopedagogy of a simple listing of cultural phenomena or teaching the national language. The processes of upbringing and education must be implemented in unity with cultural enlightenment, in which the unity of man, society and nature is revealed. The problem of distorted interpretation of cultural phenomena in modern times is shown, which creates a contradictory worldview system. The need to instill an understanding of the transformation of the worldview of traditional cultures in modern times is emphasized, which makes it possible to fill pedagogical practice with specific content. The novelty of the study lies in the discovery of the relationship between problems of worldview and pedagogical practice. The ideology of the Soviet era was formed on substantialism and materialism, which required the application of the ideas of abstract progress and holism. In such conditions, Tuvan traditional culture was not fit into the abstract system that reduces the content of archaic cultures. The authors point to the unity of education and thinking, in which a person understands the uniqueness of each culture and its phenomena. In this connection, it is possible to learn the meanings of one’s culture, which creates the possibility of self-identification. The main contribution of the authors lay in revealing of the need to develop ethnopedagogy with specific content, which is ensured through high-quality preparation of ideological foundations.

Abstract: The object of this research is the transformational processes in the Tuvan culture, which take place due to transition from the centuries-old feudal structure to the modern globalized culture. The combination of interpenetrating cultural phenomena creates a unique context for the transformation of worldview, which becomes the basis of social unrest. Special attention is given to the problem of the conflict of generations, which arises due to disruption of the succession of cultural development in the Tuvan society. Drastic change of economic patterns and methods of interaction with nature under the new socioeconomic conditions, forms up the contradictory worldview of the younger generation, who identify themselves with the Tuvan ethnos, but fail to comply in practice. The conclusion is made on the presence of factors that aggravate the conflict of generations in the Tuvan society, which is undergoing the bidirectional influence of globalization. The author indicates the processes of implementation of innovations into social relations and tendency to archaization. The dynamism of socioeconomic development opens various opportunities for adaptation to different generations, which enhances the axiological gap. Moreover, the structure of transformation of social system takes roots in the change of mechanisms of socialization and education. The article reveals correlation between the problem of the conflict of generations and multiple aspects of the development of cultural-historical traditions. This provides a more holistic picture of the long-term development of Tuvan society.
